Burnt Up Sir!

So many of you know I'm doing this Ultimate Blog Challenge thing this month which is thirty posts in July, basically a post a day. Now many bloggers worry, "What am I going to blog about everyday? What if I run out of ideas?" OK, so that doesn't mean I want fate to create these insane alternate reality events for me to blog about. Shesh.

If you read my Tuesday post called The Nine Lives of Mr. A., you'll know my hubby had a pretty close call. So early this morning at about 1:00 AM my daughter's boyfriend called crazy upset to tell us my Suzuki Sidekick was on fire. (I was planning on selling it to him so I let him drive it home.) Turns out someone lit it up intentionally.  I can't say much more about it other than it is being investigated. Below are some pictures of what's left of it.

What a crazy week huh? Tomorrow is Sunday. This week will be over. I'm going for interesting posts this coming week which will fall somewhere between closer to normal and a little further away from mind bending.

And because a little humor is needed, a classic from last year for your pleasure. RIP Suzzie! You served me well.

"I said Lord Jesus it's a fire! Ain't nobody got time for that!"

This is post #6 of the Ultimate Blog Challenge.

Waiting for Harvey

Alone, in a cabin in the woods, with a ghost. Who could ask for more in a ghost story? Harvey starts right out with a hint of foreboding in a conversation between brothers John and Erik. Already my curiosity is roused as to what happened...

I randomly downloaded this on my iPad when I hit the wrong button being a bumble fingers, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I've never read fanfic before. It was pretty good. But like many other people, it still can't compare to J. K. Row...
